What is comFAX®?comFAX® – fax software with mail integration for business-wide communicationscomFAX® is the high-performance communications server with open interfaces to general and individual software solutions and mail systems. Modern multi-server architecture guarantees homogeneous integration of different communications tasks in heterogeneous network structures. comFAX® deals with the sending and receiving of fax documents for you. In addition, gateways to the internet, to HP OpenMail, to SAP and BaaN enable access to fax services. comFAX® can also be used from Exchange via the MAPI interface. comFAX® was specially conceived for distributed applications in LAN, WAN and intranet. Modern technology permits simple integration in existing computer architecture: UNIX systems or computers under Windows NT® as server, as well as workstations and PCs running under Windows® 3.x, Windows® 95 and Windows NT® as clients. comFAX® is currently ported on all customary UNIX platforms and Microsoft Windows®. The comFAX® connection to the telephone network is either digital via ISDN or analogue.
