How to use it
To use ZSipOs, you need a VoIP (SIP) telephone connected to your LAN.
The ZSipOs box is connected between the LAN and the telephone.
The telephone works just as before: dial, ring, pick up, speak, hang up.
The ZSipOs box shows you the current connection status. When you are connected to another ZSipOs user, you can use the ‘Go Secure’ button to encrypt the existing connection with absolute security. The ZSipOs box shows you the current connection status. Once the connection is encrypted, it can no longer be eavesdropped on from outside.
Now we need to ensure that no third party has intercepted the connection between you and your communication partner. To rule this out, you and your conversation partner simply compare the fingerprint (SAS) of the current connection key verbally. Once you have compared the SAS and confirmed it on the ZSipOs box, the connection is trustworthy.
You can now be sure that the connection cannot be eavesdropped on over the network.
