are managed similar to faxes and e-mails in Outlook.

With the appropriate configuration, a user can have the contents of his SMS read out on the phone.
   

In addition to the stand-alone SMS as a Service, there are two other configuration options for the SMS service:

SMS via Provider

SMS are sent via the Internet using the PAPAGENO SMS driver.

SMS via Fixed Network

SMS are sent to the fixed network like faxes via the PAPAGENO backend driver. The transition between the fixed network and the mobile network takes place via a short message centre.

This solution is cost-saving, the configuration is simple (no hardware, no contracts). The benefits, on the other hand, are high: large SMS volumes as well as many extension numbers are no problem.
